About Me

 

My name is Stephen Wilcox. I was born in Montrose, PA in 1978 and stayed there until I came to college in Harrisonburg, VA. Here I attended Eastern Mennonite University and recieved my bachelor's degree in psychology. I worked for a few years in that field, but did not feel that it was my passion.

 

During this time I was taking a lot of pictures and developing my love for photography, as well as learning to utilize new technological developments in digital photography. I began to study more about photography and shoot with other professionals.

I then started doing wedding photography and realized that this was what I was truly passionate about doing. Deciding to embrace my love for photography, I sought out more education. I took classes for a master's in graphic design with a concentration in digital photography and web design.

 

I have been shooting weddings for the last four years. Capturing all the special moments at your wedding is truly what I love doing. It is always a blessing to me to see the joy of a couple as I show them their images.
